Build a photo-to-video template with ChatGPT
Create a reusable vertical story with a defined photo order, readable titles and a verified motion preview.
What you need
- Four to six licensed photos with labels and a fixed order.
- A desired aspect ratio, duration and visual reference.
- An authorized connection and the current video template contract.
A prompt you can use
Replace the bracketed placeholders with your own details. If you do not have an ID, ask the AI to find the item you can access by name, address or MLS number. Check the match before using its returned ID.
If I have not provided an ID, first discover the resources I can access by name, address or MLS number as supported for that resource, show the matches, and ask me to confirm before using the returned ID. Create a personal reusable AgentOS video template. Target: 9:16, about 18 seconds, four to six photo slots, restrained pan/zoom, short titles and a clear closing card. Read current duration, photo-layout, transition and font constraints first; explain any unsupported request. Use only [ASSET_IDS_IN_ORDER], label the sample TEMPLATE DEMO / NOT A LISTING, and keep listing facts as bindings. Save and validate the template. Show the proposed storyboard and any sample-render cost before rendering. No TTS, music or publishing unless I separately approve it.
How the work flows
- Photo order + brief
- Read template constraints
- Save reusable bindings
- Approve sample render
- Watch beginning, middle and end
This is the intended sequence, not a saved or executed workflow. Ask the AI to implement it against the currently supported tools and report the actual state.
- 01
Write a storyboard before animation
Assign each photo a role: opening, living area, kitchen, detail and closing. Use only spaces shown in the images. Do not turn an interior slot into an exterior claim because of a template’s internal field name.
- 02
Keep timing inside the contract
Ask the AI to use supported photo-layout preparation, transitions and frame counts. A description such as “cinematic” does not establish that the renderer supports a particular effect. Do not hard-code one set of sample photos into a reusable design.
- 03
Verify motion, not only the cover
After you authorize a sample render, watch every transition. Look for blank frames, repeated logos, clipped subtitles, an abrupt ending and misplaced images. Revise the same template and identify the new sample operation.
Verify the result
- The output ratio and duration match the accepted brief.
- Different input photos work in the intended order.
- Every scene and the final frame have been viewed.
When something fails
If rendering is pending or its result is uncertain, query the existing operation. Do not launch a second paid render. If a requested effect is unsupported, choose an available effect and disclose the change.
